Hello again Teacups c: I had the opportunity to
visit the Khiran Resort in the south of Kuwait as my family booked us a chalet
on Thursday, February 16th. There are plenty of activities and attraction
sites, I'll show you the things there are that I did.
1) Our Accommodation
We lived in a Villa Chalet, however the Khiran
resort offers studio chalets and standards, although I prefer the environment
of the Studios, I love the interior of the Villas much more as well as the
rooms, which I actually had to share, and it included twin beds, a chest, a
wardrobe and a desk! The overall chalet was practically inviting and big for a family and that's great! you should give the other places a try though for varied prices and a more distinct look.
2) Activities
My personal favourite activity? Was riding the 4
Wheel Cycles! It had a steering wheel and all, which sort of controlled like a
car, except its healthier! because you're using your legs to move the whole
thing, and best of all? It's a partnership although I tried it on my own, and
it was fine. There are bicycles as well to rent. The 4 Wheel cycles are 3KD to actually use them and 20KD for insurance purposes, which you have to pay before hand, and if returned in the same conditions as well as in under an hour, you get the 20KD back. The bicycle is 1.5KD to use and 10KD insurance.
There are bowling alleys to reserve, 2.5 Kd for
each person. An arcade room called Game Center and mini outdoor games like
bumper cars, trampolines (For kids aged 7 and below), Shaking Disco (be
careful, it's a dangerous game) and a coaster (not roller though) & a
little Park outside of the chalets to enjoy which has swings, slides and that's
it LOL.
3) Sites to visit
There are plenty of places to go to, great for selfies
or photographs, or just simply for view purposes. People tend to walk here a
lot more than in the city (for reasons I don't know other than the heat). You
can take a stroll in the many parks, the Game Center which has Shrimpy the fast
food restaurant, an arabic diwaniya like cafe/restaurant and the villas,
chalets and studios streets.
There are plenty of activities you guys, the area
could be pricy for a weekend, but for a nice vacation, it is extremely
beneficial and worth the money. Although the money could be dropped down a
little bit. I enjoyed my stay there and i'm glad I got the chance to go there before the big week of Independence day for Kuwait. Thank you for reading this you guys, I hope I will see you soon.
Goodbye :3
