So if you guys actually keep track of my usual
habits, you'd know that I absolutely hate and despise trends that don't make
sense, too stupid to be true and have no effect whatsoever in society today. Although,
i truly understand how it grabs people's attention, which is why I don't really
care how people choose to approach them, as long as they don't question me
about it! I will talk about a few of them and i don't mean any offensive things said to people who follow these trends, they're just funny opinions, Some of my fashion isn't great, I get it, let's all have a laugh about it now Lol
You may think, "HEY! What about the things you wear? aren't they a
trend too?" actually! No they aren't, like i've mentioned in my "Introducing Myself" Blog, I don't
like to wear trends, they were once original, before everybody decided to wear
it, that's why I feel bad for the creators of those trends (Who unintentionally created it I guess LOL)
My fashion consists of many things which I don't think people will have the
guts to pull of (No Shade There)
Let me discuss my looks and then I'll go to the Trends:
1) The Classic:
So why is this look called the classic? Well, Cause
I wear it A LOT! Well, almost a lot as I tend to choose a light scheme,
I wear a Polo with the sleeves folded and either
light blue or white pants with a cute designer belt (LOL), Watches and bracelet
can do the look some favor, in this case, i made a rubber band bracelet (Which
I will blog about soon!) and a D1Milano Watch, and let's not forget the iconic,
sweater wrapped around!
There is a slight alteration to this type of style,
where I wear a shirt, and adidas ankle Sneakers!
Do you think this will be a trend someday? Let me know (I Doubt it LOL)
2) The PJs!
Although, I don't wear this as common as the
Classic, and although it looks very generic, think twice, where would you see
people wear this? & Do I wear this in the summer too? Yes I DO! (Believe it
or not) A nice Grey sweater and track suit pants, with Men's UGGs, amazing! I
added the (Faux!) Blanket, to add the feel of sleep and guess what? IT WORKS! (or so I think ._.)
3) The Winter-ISH
Although this is fairly similar to my Classic look, it still deserves a spot for its own merits. I still like to wear the polo, although this time a twist to the mix! khaki or brown pants, or even black suit pants goes really great with this type, now let's not forget! the (Faux!) Chic Skin Jacket, I only actually wore this twice in public, but I still find it a spectacular add to the mix, let's not forget LOUIS VUITTON SHOES (& Belt)
And now..... back to....... these ******* ... JK XP (Nicki Minaj VMA's 2015) we'll talk about the trends.
1) XL? Or a Dress?
Ok, I get this (I really don't!) Why on earth would someone think this is amazing! cause it isn't!, I mean yes I get the pros that come with this, It's an affordable look, something everything is doing. So if this is ok? why aren't men okay with wearing dresses? I mean they're technically the same, if Women are wearing things Men were intended to wear, why can't it be the opposite then? (Not saying I would though)
2) Tucked in Designer Belts?
Tucked in shirts, polos whatever, is an amazing thing! it totally matches the whole concept of looking smart and classy. But, T-Shirts tucked in with an LV Belt is not, especially if it's a graphic Tee....(Barf), I have seen this trend on many kids, more than adults, I mean yes, they're just kids and have no idea what fashion is, but going on and wearing an obvious knockoff belt with ridiculous baggy jeans and a graphic Tee tucked inside their jeans is too ridiculous. This Trend should be obsolete!
FIY: This trend happened right after I wore my classic look constantly, with a Louis Vuitton Belt, and guess what? It's the real thing, that actually goes well with the outfit (minus the colour scheme). I'm not trying to show off or anything, but do these kids seriously believe that people are thinking they have those belts for real? LOL.
3) Baggy Sweatpants (in outgoing places)
Ok, this one is a bit of a mixed bag, it's unreasonable to judge this if someone is going to the gym, or even going to sleep with this. But going out to malls! Dinners etc. they look plain ridiculous, and it's not even one person, it's dozens of people going out with this, and the bottoms aren't even stitched well, so they just hang loose on the floor, You guys, I know Kuwaitis really hate wearing skinny, it doesn't look well on guys (& it's uncomfortable as hell) but that doesn't mean you have to go all out on the bagginess! I honestly have not seen a person that looks good in these. Joggers and regular sweatpants are fine, what happened to those!
So Those are some of the minor trends that are happening, hopefully we will revisit those and look at even bigger and stupider trends.
